You acknowledge that participation in the Scavenger Hunt Event (“Event”) exposes you to a possible risk of personal injury. You voluntarily and knowingly agree to assume the full risk of any and all injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity, that may be sustained as a result of participation in Event. You hereby release Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (“WHOI”), its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, and affiliates, from any and all liability from personal injuries, property damage, and/or other claims arising from or in connection with your participation in the Event including claims that are known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, future or contingent. Further, you hereby release all corporate sponsors or entities affiliated with the Event, (“Event Sponsors”), their officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, and affiliates, from any and all liability from property damage, personal injuries, or other claims arising from or in connection with your participation in the Event including claims that are known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, future or contingent. You covenant that you shall not now or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly, commence or prosecute any action, suit or other proceeding against WHOI, Event Sponsors, their officers, directors, employees, agent, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, and affiliates, for acts or conduct arising out of, or relating to an action for bodily injuries or damages of whatever kind. By participating in this Event, you agree to waive your right to bring an action, suit against WHOI, Event Sponsors, their officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, and affiliates, and if such action is commenced, you agree to release and discharge said claim.

YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND AGREE TO IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT. YOU FURTHER CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD OR, IF UNDER THE AGE OF 18, YOUR PARENT/GUARDIAN HAS REVIEWED THIS WAIVER AND CONSENTED TO ITS TERMS.
