Di Jin
Marine Policy Researcher
Di Jin is a marine resource economist, who specializes in integrating economic models with environmental models. He adds value to the OTZ team by blending the biological and chemical ocean science with social science, economics, and policy analysis. By creating quantitative measures for the environmental and natural resource values of the mesopelagic zone, Jin develops model simulations to inform future policy and management for the twilight zone. To protect the twilight zone as a resource, Jin and the OTZ team are collaborating to promote sustainability for future generations.
